The Earth Bore Its Fruit

The Earth bears fruit,
Receiving strength
From the rain, wind, and sun.
If she lacks
one of the forces
That she needs,
She does not bear,
Does not bestow,
And cannot create a thing.
And then people can't be nourished by her.
Rather, tragically,
They could become extinct
From starvation,
If the Earth did not
Bear fruit.
But when man
Sows and plants and reaps,
She reciprocates accordingly.
The way man serves the Earth
Is the way the Earth serves man.
