The Shopkeeper Sells
on Credit
Baal HaSulam
Rabbi Akiva said,
"Everything
is temporary
And that a
fortress surrounds all of life.
The shop is open
And the owner
gives credit.
The book is
open
And the hand
writes.
And whoever
wishes to borrow
May borrow.
The collectors
call frequently,
Every day.
And the debts
are paid,
Knowingly and
unknowingly.
They can be
assured
The judgment is
just
And all is
prepared for the feast."
